Market Planning

Market planning is a particular skill at Rita Sanders Advertising & Public
Relations. It is the compass that keeps public relations and other communication vehicles

SmartReport™.
SmartReport™
The SmartReport™ is a valuable document that results from two meetings to assess
your strengths and weaknesses, perceptions of the competition and marketplace positioning.
It includes research necessary to formulate a market plan and concludes with that plan.
Public and Media Relations
Public relations and media relations are crucial in image building and presentation of

Public relations takes many formats, including news releases and feature articles;
newsletters; radio and television talk show and newscast appearances; press conferences;
sponsorship of special events/grand openings; seminars; brochures, and slide or videotape

Media relations is the process that takes a news release or story idea to
fruition—being published in print and broadcast on radio and television. Media

Publicity+™
Publicity+™, like the SmartReport™, is a strategic document, plan and
benefits package for PR clients. It includes image and marketplace studies, a strategic
public relations plan, media training and a "scrapbook" of client news coverage,
with videotapes, articles and monthly reports of the dollar value of publicity gained.
ADVERTISING
Media buying and creative management are integral parts of the advertising process.
They include research, planning, rate negotiation, buying space and time, development
of a creative platform—branding and positioning—production of print and
broadcast products and direct mail.
Media management is more a science than an art. It takes someone who has the knowledge
to enter any market, analyze data and formulate a plan. Ad creativity and production is an
art, but artistic ads also must be authored to reflect marketing strategies.
